Im regretfully putting my 1972 240z and all the extra parts to go with it up for sale. The only reason im selling it is because I dont have the time or extra money to put into it anymore and Id rather have the cash at this point in life.
Engine:
L28E swap with 5 speed transmission. Header. Exhaust. Holley 4 barrel conversion. I also have Just about everything you need to convert to a fuel injected turbo set up. Its all listed in “extra parts”
Exterior:
The car was repainted by the previous owner. The clear coat is pealing in places and needs a respray(color change). Has brand new front air dam purchased from MSA. “BAMF” extra wide fender flares. ZTR wing. Brand new custom ordered Basset Racing wheels with brand new tires.
As far as rust goes, of course it has some rust. Bubbled up in spots, but it is NOT a rust bucket. Floors are solid.
Interior:
The interior was redone by the previous owner. Its in good shape. Has an aftermarket radio. A/C still blows
Extra Parts:
1″ Wilwood brake master cylinder polished and already modified for the Z. Mckinney Motorsports coilovers with weld in camber plates.
Turbo kit-14mm 550cc Bosch injectors, L28et exhaust manifold with welded on spacer, Lone wolf intake manifold with Q45 throttle body, HX35 turbo, jdm intercooler, ebay waste gate, ebay bov, Palnet 14mm fuel rail, L28et oil pan, L28et oil pump, NOS L28et Distributor with CAS, Complete Megasquirt stand alone ecu to control fuel and spark with complete plug and play wiring harness with pig tails to use electric fans, and definitely more that I just cant think of at the moment.
Keep in mind this is a project car. The last time I drove it was over a year ago. The brake pedal went to the floor, but pressure came back after a couple pumps. I drove it around the block hear and there after that, and it never happened again. But it was an issue that I never got around to really checking out, which lead to the car sitting for so long. Also, Im not a fan of the current carb set up. It seems like it needs to be tinkered with almost every time I would I go to start it (keep in mind this was not my daily driver, so Id only mess with it every once in a while). Im an honest guy, so im just being upfront with the issues that I know of. I’d be happy to answer any questions.
I’ve dumped thousands of dollars worth of top quality new, used, and rare parts on this thing with the intention of keeping it forever, but life happens and its time to let it go. I’d like to sell as a complete package and rather not part out, but will consider it if there is enough interest. $8000
