Car is painted ford red, originally pale yellow. Rust free.This is a hls30 model which means it was an originally manufactured as a (4-speed).
I bought vehicle from an older man. He purchased the car back in the 90’s for his wife, but she didn’t know how to drive manual. Car has been sitting for 25 years. Car has never been registered, she just sat in the garage! Previous owner kept the car covered (for most of it’s time) and engine as well with a blanket.
Original engine was replaced by the first owner with a 260 engine for extra kick. 10k miles on drive train! (i have original receipt when swapped). *there is only a total of 36,000 miles on body.
No cracks in dash and the interior is plush.
I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle. Previous owner used to run the car periodically, but stopped about 8 years ago. He was a smart man, he didnt leave much fluid in the car.
I was able to get the car running and she runs as a champion. Has an electric fuel pump. I drained gas tank, replaced all the fluids (except tranny- still great), plugs, slave cylinder, fuses, and calipers (see pictures). Tranny shifts perfectly, same mileage as engine. 91 octane fed*
car was damaged ( left inner well) but the frame is still straight. Body is straight. Easy fix to the right enthusiast. *all the car needs are simple nuances (headliner in front droops a little [$5 for glue], weather stripping [less than $40], original carpet kit [$175]). A/c unit is intact, just needs to be hooked up. I can do it myself, but then again, the price will just be higher- these are elementary fixes.
It is a beautiful vehicle. Very fast. These cars are collector’s items and have a large appreciation value. This is a rare year, rare car.
Pink slip in the mail (never registered by previous owner). Clean title.
