1972 240z Ls swapped on Terminator X
(The trunk wasn’t cut making this Datsun)
To start off yes like all Datsuns it has some rust repair to be done. It is not perfect. This car when originally purchased had a traditional gen 1 SBC swap.
We put in a 5.3 LS mated to a TH350 with a TCI 2800 stall converter. The car currently runs on a Holley terminator x system. B&M’s pro stick shifter. Holley sniper manifold. Champion radiator with dual spal fans.
We installed a Lunati cam with comp springs and titanium retainers and push rods. Sounds and runs amazing.
The headers are made by Sanders and ceramic coated.
The entire fuel system is done with XRP hose and fittings. All American made stuff.
Magnafuel pro tuner 750 fuel pump and filter. ATL well cell installed( safe for any fuel as well).
The car has a built R180 rear and that has been great and lasted for the few miles we’ve driven the car.
Racewire solutions steering column switch installed as well.
Moroso switch panel. I’m sure there is more to list.
All of these parts are brand new. Driven the car for maybe 300miles.
No smog needed.
Has a cowl hood. All paper work in my name, pink slip in hand.
It’ll come with a R200 diff and VMS front wheels.
Comes with new KYB front and rear shocks in the box
It’ll also come with new floor pans and floor rails from KF vintage still in the box..
Only rusty spot is passenger floor.
Eventually everything will come out and the car will get finished and painted but honestly I’m just checking the market out.
Cracked dash
Needs paint and bodywork
Missing back plastics
I’m also looking for a stock hood if anyone knows of a good one for sale (yes it will close)
Current Cali registration. 25k takes it.
Let me know if u need video (don’t waste your time).
Brake lights and blinkers work
Full exhaust is done front to back and sounds great
Can easily be made flex fuel with the sensor. Gets decent gas mileage believe it or not.
