Very desirable 1973 Datsun 240z.
It gets compliments everywhere I go. I would recommend seeing the car in person, pictures just don’t do justice. The car is absolutely rust free and has matching numbers. I just got the following done on the car:
– All new gaskets (Cylinder, Valve cover, oil pan, timing cover, misc.)
– Water pump
– Oil change and filters
– Tune carburetors
– New battery
– All new fuel vent hoses to fuel tank
– New fuel filler neck
– 4 new Yokohama tires
Prior to my ownership, the car has been garage kept it’s entire life. I’m the third owner. Owner 1 had it until 53,000 miles and Owner 2 bought it in 2002 and had it until 66,000miles. I don’t have all the maintenance documents but I have some.
The car runs and drives great with no leaks. All modifications were done by the original owner at Prizm Auto Body in Santa Rosa, CA. in the spring of 1987. I have the receipts for this.
Exterior modifications to the body include removing all emblems, metal flares all around, and sport rims. Modifications required a full body repaint in the original color plus a custom accent, and looks great at 10 feet, however it has some paint imperfections.
Interior is in excellent condition. Dash is in perfect condition, no cracks. Interior Mods include: seats, roll-bar, aftermarket stereo & speakers. The Recaro seats replaced the original seats, and are in excellent condition.
Engine modifications include swapping original carburetors to Weber carburetors.
In summary, the car is in great shape for a 50 year old car. Give me a call if you’re interested and we can negotiate in person. I have the clean title in my name and I’m located in the Portland area.
