For sale is my 73 datsun 240z. The car has a clean title. She runs pretty well the motor is fresh swap 260z motor so it is a 2.6L instead of the 2.4L. The compression is 185 psi on all cylinders and oil pressure is spot on. 5 speed manual transmission that shifts great. This Z has a 4 barrel clifford conversion along with custom long tube header. Has edelbrock carb 500 which is to big thus making the car run rich but still run solid just would need a holley 390 to make it run perfect and scream. Electronic fuel pump and fuel pressure regulater. This Z is a project but it runs and drive. main issue is wiring as in making it look pretty. but all driving lights work as they should. Almost all gauges need to be hooked up except for ect and fuel. no smog needed and has everything current. driven back from sacramento with no problems. Suspension has been worked on and has new tokico lowering spring. urethane bushing on a lot of the suspension, front end, sway bars, shocks. brake lines all have been re done. new clutch. fresh tires and watanabe rims.
This is not a rust free Z has rust on frame rail and is the worst of it. See pictures. Has been patch but to be great need replacement piece. As stated it is a running project. A perfect rust free Z would cost much more then what I’m asking. To much to go over but anyone looking at this should know about Z and what comes with owning one. only serious buyers not people who are thinking about it, have no experience in the auto field.
